Switch faults are predictable, and all four of the common ones are fixable. We do the board-level work in-house rather than sending it away.
Switch repairs we handle
Charging port replacement. The USB-C port takes the strain every time the console is docked, and it eventually loosens or fails. It is soldered directly to the board, so replacing it is micro-soldering work — the same skill we use on PlayStation and Xbox HDMI ports.
Screen replacement. Cracked glass, dead pixels, no image, or touch that stops responding.
Battery replacement. Runtime that has collapsed, or a console that will not hold a charge away from the dock.
Joy-Con drift. The stick registering movement you are not making. We replace the analog stick module rather than papering over it with a recalibration.
We work on the original Switch, Switch Lite and Switch OLED.

Independent Nintendo Switch repair
RadioActive is an independent repair shop and is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Nintendo. We are not an authorized service centre, so we cannot perform in-warranty service — if your console is still under manufacturer warranty, Nintendo should handle it. For everything out of warranty, we do the board-level work in-house.
Frequently asked questions
Can you fix Joy-Con drift?
Yes. Drift is caused by a worn analog stick module, so we replace the module. Recalibration only masks it for a while.
My Switch will not charge — is that fixable?
Usually yes. The USB-C charging port is soldered to the board and is the most common cause. We micro-solder the old port off and fit a new one.
Do you replace Switch screens and batteries?
Yes — cracked screens, dead or unresponsive displays, and batteries that no longer hold a charge, on the original Switch, Switch Lite and Switch OLED.
Can I mail my Switch in?
Yes, from anywhere in the United States. Start online, ship us the console, and we return it with tracking. You cover shipping both ways. If you are local, drop-off in Kalispell saves you the postage.
